There are five stages in FIFA 23 where Path to Glory cards can be upgraded:
+1 IF Upgrade – Group stage qualification
+1 IF Upgrade – victory in round 16
5* Weak Leg Improvement – Quarterfinal Win
5* Movement Skill Upgrade – Semi-Final Win
+1 IF Upgrade and 3 new traits – victory in the final
While only players from the country that wins the World Cup will be able to get a full ranking boost, the first two in-form promotions are probably the ones to pay attention to. Note that “an” indicates that the promotion has been safe but not yet implemented in the game, with the player’s current rating matching the current in-game rating.
